Loon Conservation
- Initiated and continue to work with the Loon Conservatory to certify SL as a loon friendly lake since 2021
- Yearly installation of loon floating platforms
- Monitoring of the loons with the help of our volunteers
- Annual lake clean-up to eliminate fishing lines and lures, glass, plastic, Styrofoam and other garbage harmful to loons and their habitat.
